“!Fund of the Ones who Care” continues to help and announces its new goal. This time it is going to help children. Our new aim is to collect 80 thousand UAH to purchase injection pumps for Intensive Care Unit of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Centre in Lviv. They allow providing maximum exact injecting of life essential medicine for children in critical situations.

Each year 65 thousand children need medical help in the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Centre (27 Dnisterska Str.); hospital care gets over 6 thousand children with various pathologies, says Andriy Senyuta, Centre Head Doctor.

Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit of the Centre treat patients who have bad or complicating diseases. Patients in comatose state, with epileptic and asthmatic status and children with different poisoning cases receive emergency aid here, too. Hemodialysis sub-unit also functions for patients suffering from acute and chronic renal insufficiency.

The Centre strongly needs to purchase modern, simple, convenient and mobile injection pumps produced by B Braun Mеdical.They allow providing maximum exact injecting of life essential medicine for children in critical situations. The usage of injection pumps will improve children treatment results, especially with malignant diseases. The price of one injection pump is nearly 16 thousand UAH (5 injection pumps will cost nearly 80 thousand UAH).

“!Fund of the ones who care” has already purchased three spirometers, the encephalograph, the sterilizer for instruments for the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Centre as well as active rehabilitation equipment for Lviv Military Hospital and almost 500 first aid kits for Ukrainian soldiers fighting in Eastern Ukraine. We will inform you soon about the results of our latest goal – collecting money for recreation camp “Radity” of Ukrainian soldiers’ children.
