COMMUNITY OF THE ONES WHO CARE RAISED OVER 1.5 MILLION HRYVNIAS FOR THE DEFENCE FORCES

On December 12, the School of Open-Minded Kids hosted a charity fair across all three locations at once. Three venues, dozens of stalls, and hundreds of involved children, parents, and teachers, all united by one common goal — supporting our defenders.

The charity fair featured a variety of offerings: homemade pastries and sweets, handcrafted items, workshops, raffles, lotteries, creative initiatives, and even student-run businesses. Everything was created and sold with the defenders in mind, believing that every single hryvnia makes a difference.

A charity fair during the Christmas season is a long-standing tradition at our school, reflecting our collective commitment and care. This year, in a single evening, our combined efforts raised more than 1.5 million hryvnias for the Defence Forces.

‘Our fair is one of those special occasions when you can feel the full scale and power of our amazing community at the School of Open-Minded Kids,’ Yurko Nazaruk said.

We are grateful to all the adults — parents and teachers — and to every student for their dedication, hard work, and caring spirit. Through our joint efforts, we not only preserve our traditions but also create a community that can reach out and make the world a better place, even in the toughest times.

Shortly, we’ll be announcing where and how every contribution from the fundraiser has been used.
