Live Nativity Scene with Cyborgs and Enemies in Lviv
06.01.15

Traditionally on January 6th, we display in Lviv with Bible characters and animals. It’s already our 6th performance depicting the problems nowadays, and is located at Arsenalna Square (behind the “Arsenal” museum). “Long time ago nativity scenes were made to show current life and problems. Last year there was a nativity scene at barricade as we had Maidan in the country. This year we are facing another political situation. That’s why our heroes are not only traditional Joseph, Maria and angels but Ukrainian soldiers that defend Jesus from angry Herod who personifies one well-known man from a neighboring country,” – say organizers.

The nativity scene will be played January 6-8, Lviv citizens and guests can enjoy it for free. Everyone can donate money, which will be forwarded to our soldiers in the East. Traditionally Ukrainian scouts are the characters of the nativity scene.
